Superyacht Aviation are industry specialists in superyacht aviation. With safety as our top priority, we provide the highest quality training and support services to private and commercial superyachts around the globe.

We deliver full MCA-accredited Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO), Helideck Assistant (HDA) and Helicopter Refuelling training courses.  We can deliver these courses at your convenience either on board your vessel, wherever it may be, at our Daedalus Airfield training facility near Southampton, or at the Maritime Skills Academy (MSA) site at Dover in the UK.  We are also able to deliver live helicopter training for delegates at Daedalus and Dover!

Whichever option is most convenient for our clients, we're able to conduct a range of realistic helideck crew training scenarios, including the use of Standard and Emergency Operating Procedures (SOPs & EOPs) and specialist helicopter refuelling training using our bespoke Ground & Refuel Training Simulators (GTS & RTS).

We also support your helideck crew by providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd party independent helideck audits to AS 9100 and ISO 9001 standards, conducting full risk assessments of your aviation facilities, implementing effective safety management and writing bespoke Helicopter Operating Guides, including effective Emergency Response Plans.

For private yachts, we also offer specialist helicopter operating techniques, such as sling-loading of external loads.  Here, we train your crew to sling equipment such as quad bikes, attach them to the helicopter and transfer them from the yacht to a shore site and back again.
